Keystone VGA Insert | HTECH
The Keystone VGA Insert is a modular snap-in jack that allows a standard VGA (Video Graphics Array) connection to be integrated into a universal keystone wall plate or patch panel. It is primarily used to provide a permanent, clean bulkhead for analog video signals.
Product features
- Modular fit: designed to snap into any standard keystone opening. Due to the width of the VGA connector, these inserts are often “high-density” or slightly oversized; in some tight multi-port wall plates, they may require a blank space next to them to fit comfortably.
- Durability: usually molded from high-impact thermoplastic. Many models include threaded nut towers on the front, allowing you to screw in the thumb-screws of the VGA cable for a secure, “shake-proof” connection.

- Dimensions: 15mm x 16mm

Steps for getting the right amount of inserts for your project:
- Determine the empty slots of the wall plate. For example, you want two 6-slot 120×120 wall plates. The total number of empty slots is 12.
- Determine the actual number of inserts you need. Subtract the total empty slots from the amount of inserts you actually need. The value gotten will be for the blank inserts [click here]. For example, you require four RJ45 inserts, 12 – 4 = 8. That means you will buy 8 blank inserts for the slots you will not be using.
