ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT (as per the CHECKOUT page)

Option 1: Credit/Debit Card payment via PayFast:

Requirements: Credit Card (VISA or Master Card) or any Debit Card issued by a South African Banking Institution.

Process: Follow the ‘checkout’ process and register your personal details with us (required to ensure your delivery). When completed, select PLACE ORDER. You will automatically be routed to PayFast, which is a third-party secure payment platform based in South Africa. You may need to register your details again with PayFast (if you have previously registered with PayFast, then only your Login is required). Via PayFast, you have the option to use either a Credit Card or Debit Card, etc.

Option 2: EFT payment via Internet Banking or Bank Deposit:

Requirements: For a normal EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer), you will need an ‘internet banking’ account. 

Process: Following the completion of your order, you will be provided with a Henrac Technology order number, e.g. #HT-1234 (4 digits). You will also receive all order details and confirmation via email. If you do not have an email address, then please save the details of your order and order number.

Please use your ‘Order or Invoice number’  as a payment reference.

Note: all items as detailed on your order will only be allocated/reserved for a period of 72 hours. You must, at the very least, provide ‘proof of payment’ before this period expires, failing which your order will automatically be cancelled by our system and the stock on your order will be credited back to the ‘online Store’.

Option 3: Instant EFT payment @ checkout (via PayFast):

Requirements: You will need an internet banking account. If you don’t have a credit or debit card, then select this option.

Process: From within PayFast, you are given the additional option to make an EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) via Internet Banking. Once selected, this option is the same as your normal Internet Banking process but takes place from within the PayFast platform itself. There is NO need to email a ‘proof of payment’ to us when using ‘Instant EFT’.

The buyer sees a success message and gets redirected back to the seller’s website. The seller will receive a notification from PayFast stating that a payment has been received.

Option 4: Payflex payment @ checkout (via PayFast):

Requirements: To be able to use Payflex, you will need to create an account with Payflex. When creating a Payflex account, you will need to meet the following requirements for Payflex:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must live in South Africa and possess a valid South African ID number.
• You must have an active South African debit, credit, or cheque card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express).
• A working South African mobile phone number (to receive SMS OTPs) and a valid email address.
• You must pass Payflex’s real-time identity and credit check.

Process: From within the PayFast gateway system, you will be given several options for paying for your order. Select Payflex and then log in to your Payflex account. Select how you would like to pay the instalments. Then click Place Order.

Note: When using Payflex, make sure you have enough funds to pay for the first instalment.
