The Keystone DVI Straight Insert is a modular “pass-through” coupler designed to integrate digital visual interface (DVI) connectivity into a standard keystone wall plate. It is primarily used to provide a clean, professional termination point for video cables in conference rooms, classrooms, or home theaters.

Product features

• Interface: it features a female DVI-I (Integrated) or DVI-D (Digital) port on the front and a corresponding female port on the rear.
• Straight-through design: as a “straight” or “coupler” style insert, it requires no wiring or soldering. You simply plug a pre-terminated DVI cable into the back of the insert.

Steps for getting the right amount of inserts for your project:

1. Determine the empty slots of the wall plate. For example, you want two 6-slot 120×120 wall plates. The total number of empty slots is 12.
2. Determine the actual number of inserts you need. Subtract the total empty slots from the amount of inserts you actually need. The value gotten will be for the blank inserts [click here]. For example, you require four RJ45 inserts, 12 – 4 = 8. That means you will buy 8 blank inserts for the slots you will not be using.
