This unit supports both ‘neutral wire’ and ‘no neutral wire’ operation and is our very latest release (current models to be phased out). The unit in addition to WiFi also supports BLE (Bluetooth low energy). A WiFi to Bluetooth hub can also be added if required.
- Face Plate Options – 4 Colours : all switches ship sealed with a White face Plate (default). All Face Plates are inter-changeable and simply ‘clip on’. Black, Silver and Gold face plates only are sold separately, meaning you must first buy the ‘default white switch’.

- Activation dates, days of the week, start time and duration can all be pre-configured via the Smartlife application giving you complete remote control and ON/Off overwrite. See ‘how do I get started’ – select from main menu above
- Three mode switching namely: 1. touch panel, 2. Wifi (mobile phone + configure all aspects predefine ON/OFF etc) & 3. Bluetooth (mobile phone – WiFi to Bluetooth hub can also be added if required.)

- Blue Backlit colour can be switched OFF during night time hours (so as not to disturb your sleep).

Connecting the capacitor that was supplied with the product on the first light fitting was also quick and easy where you don’t have a neutral at the light switch. Only used 2 of the 3 buttons for the lights, the 3rd button is being used as a virtual switch through the app for automation when I wake up, to turn on the coffee machine as I leave my bedroom.

These new dual-mode BT switches are perfect, and they work with the SmartLife app.
My house is the “No Neutral”, the SmartLife app automagically picks up the switches when pairing. You don’t need to search around the app and navigate the pairing process. I’ve tried out a few switches, and these new models are by far the most stable I’ve tested. Only rated 4 stars because of the 3 switches I bought, one of them was defective.
