Love this unit, the modular approach and open book options I had for automation are awesome. Found this months ago and was sad to see it was out of stock. Really happy to have secured my unit, works perfectly with the Smart Life app and means all my smart devices are in one place. Having fun with Google home automations, no rain sensor needed and full control. Unit is not trivial to work with, so you either need to be tech savvy or get a professional to help you. In my case, just needed an electrician to connect to my house mains.

Very easy to install. The technical support was excellent as I needed wiring diagram which did not come with the controller. Configuring the App for automation was also easy. The only negative was the fact that the heavy transformer broke loose during transportation and broke the pcb mounting pillars. I had to re attach both.

This is a brilliant irrigation timer. You can set multiple on and off times on any days of the week. This was not possible with my very expensive Hunter irrigation timer. It was simple to install and set up.

Why two brown wires?

Connections as follows:
Loose Terminal Block – black
1. Red & Black – 230VAC input (Live & Neutral)
3. Brown – 24VAC common neutral to all 4x solenoid valves
4. Terminal block -green.
Most right terminal block is zone 1 and most left screw is the other connection (Normally Open) to the valve for activation (valve Live).

I am really happy with this irrigation system. I had a sunbird that I replaced with this one, it was also easy to mount and wire up. Getting the app to work was a bit tricky, with a bit of trial and error I now have it working exactly the way I want it to.
