The Audio Extractor 4K Converter is a compact, plug-and-play designed to strip or extract embedded digital audio from an HDMI source signal and output it simultaneously through separate digital and analog audio ports while passing the original video signal through to a display.

Product features

• Dual simultaneous audio extraction: extracts audio from an incoming HDMI stream and sends it out through both Toslink and 3.5mm stereo AUX ports at the same time.
• Lossless HDMI video pass-through: video signal is passed through to your TV, monitor, or projector with zero added latency or image degradation.
• Integrated 3-mode EDID audio switch:
  • TV: matches the audio format capabilities of the connected TV or display.
  • 2.0CH mode: downmixes the incoming audio to 2-channel PCM stereo for analog 3.5mm aux listening or legacy stereo amplifiers.
  • 5.1CH mode: forces the optical port to output raw digital bitstream (Dolby Digital AC3 / DTS 5.1) to soundbars and surround receivers.
