The Smart Tuya Gateway Hub acts as the “brain” or central hub of a smart home ecosystem. Its primary job is to bridge the communication gap between various smart devices and your home Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control everything through a single app.

Product features

• Protocol translation: most smart sensors and switches use low-power protocols like Zigbee or Bluetooth because they consume much less energy than WiFi. The gateway “translates” these signals into WiFi so your smartphone and router can understand them.
• Device management: it can typically support anywhere from 30 to 128 sub-devices, depending on the specific model, preventing your WiFi router from becoming overcrowded and sluggish.
• Remote access: it connects your local device mesh to the Tuya cloud, enabling you to check your home security or adjust settings from anywhere in the world if your device is a Bluetooth or ZigBee product.

Please note that if you have selected WiFi to ZigBee only, you can only add Tuya ZigBee products to the smart gateway. You cannot add a Bluetooth product.
