A new transformer however may not be needed for a ‘Smart upgrade’ to an existing system, meaning you already own a suitable transformer. The 24V AC connects to the controller via a 5.5mm connector known as a ‘DC plug’ – we included one with a terminal block (just in case your existing transformer’s connection is not 5.5mm).

• Rain Adjustment: you can add a Smart Water/Flood detector to indicate rain [click here]. The sprinklers can then be adjusted as needed, for example, reduced by 50% or switched OFF for the next 3 days, etc.
