An RJ45 Clear Connector Set (commonly referred to as 8P8C modular plugs) is a collection of transparent, high-quality plastic terminations used to create Ethernet cables. They are designed to provide a secure and visible connection for data transmission in Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6A networks.

Product features

• Transparent Polycarbonate housing: the clear aspect is functional, not just aesthetic. The transparency allows installers to visually verify that the color-coded wires (T568A or T568B) are in the correct order and fully seated at the front of the connector before crimping.
• Gold-plated contacts: inside the clear housing are copper pins coated in gold. Gold is used because it is highly conductive and resistant to corrosion, ensuring a stable signal over many years.
• Three-prong pin design: most modern clear connectors use a three-prong contact that straddles the copper strand of the wire, providing a more secure electrical connection than older two-prong designs.
