The Ethernet Surge Protector is a cost-effective, outdoor inline Ethernet surge protector designed to shield network equipment from damaging electrostatic discharge and voltage surges. It is commonly deployed to protect expensive outdoor hardware like wireless access points, IP surveillance cameras, and client premises equipment.

• Dual passive protection: it features two passive, surge-protected RJ45 female ports. Because it is passive, it does not require an external power source to function.
• PoE and data compatibility: it supports both standard data lines and Power over Ethernet (PoE), handling passive PoE as well as standard 802.3af/at/bt.
• High-speed throughput: support network throughput speeds ranging from 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit) up to 2.5 Gbps on updated hardware distributions, ensuring it won’t throttle modern high-speed backhauls.
• Weatherproof enclosure: housed in a compact, durable polycarbonate shell with IPX5 weatherproofing, it is engineered to withstand harsh outdoor environments.
