Outdoor 100-meter CAT5E Cable | CCA FTP Network Cable | Scoop
The Outdoor CAT5E cable is a 100-meter roll that is explicitly engineered for outdoor installations. It is built as a budget-friendly, cost-effective networking solution for connecting external IP cameras, outdoor access points, or linking outbuildings where environmental protection is required.
Product features
- Outdoor-grade weatherproofing: wrapped in a durable, heavy-duty black PVC/PE outer jacket designed to resist sun damage, cracking, and weathering over time. It is built to withstand outdoor moisture and temperature variations during external aerial or wall-mounted runs.
- Interference Protection (FTP & ESD):
- Foiled twisted pair (FTP) shielding: includes an overall aluminum foil shield wrapping all 4 twisted pairs to block electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and reduce crosstalk from nearby electrical cables or wireless devices.
- Integrated ESD drain wire: comes with a built-in grounding/drain wire to safely dissipate electrostatic discharge (ESD) generated by outdoor air movement and static electricity.
- Copper-clad aluminium (CCA): uses an aluminum core coated with copper, making it a cost-effective, lightweight alternative to solid bare copper for budget-friendly networking setups.
