I love opening my gate and garage door from anywhere. Deliveries from couriers aren’t a issue anymore. I always know if the garage doors were left open by one of the kids. I don’t need to give the whole family keys anymore, I just give them access to the app.

The product itself works well enough, but the integration with Homekit via the Plugin on HOOBS / HA is not as polished. The frequent incomplete status polling really drains your battery and instead of assuring you, leaves you wondering if the doors are really closed or not. The service from HenracTech staff was top drawer, though.

The product doesn’t work in Google Home. Shows only as a sensor. Not as a switch.

Hi Caleb, in effect it is a ‘gate/ door position’ sensor and not a switch meaning it indicates or senses if the gate/door is open or closed. The unit simply ‘piggy-backs’ the same connections as your remote. Devices that actually switch (voltage) such as our 10A, 20A & 30A switches etc. show as a switch. Regards HenracTech Support
