Smart WiFi Intelligent Current can be used in any application up to 80A to accurately measure the power consumption. The unit makes use of 2x Clamp Meters or CT’s (current transducers). The benefit of these units is that they merely ‘clamp onto the power cable’ and are therefore non-intrusive and simple to install. The unit can for example be used to monitor your total power consumption and for example your geyser and pool pump etc. The main control unit is very small and DIN rail mountable and can therefore be fitted to your DB.
Can be used to make any home, office or factory ‘Smart’ while monitoring the amount energy used. By adding Smart Switches you can also Switch (ON/OFF) any device based on a preset current limit from this device. e.g. above a certain current switch OFF the geyser and ON again below a certain value etc. IF THIS, THEN THAT principle. All this remotely via your phone from any location (free Tuya app).
Note:
- Does not require any wiring, simple and fast to install. Ensure to SITCH OFF all power before fitting the clamps.
- The unit is for single phase (230VAC) home, rental units, small office, geyser, power saving etc.
- Smart products can be switched ON/ OFF when certain current thresholds are reached.
- The CT’s are directional and must be placed with the arrow pointing towards the load.
