T6E is an Android-based ” multi-functional control panel ” compatible with the Tuya ecosystem.

It’s essentially a square-shaped 5-inch Android tablet that plugs into a junction box.

Installation and Design

The panel is very elegant with the matte white plastic coating and a pretty profile slim considering that behind it is a touchscreen and a PCB. The wall-mounted design is compatible with standard European wall boxes for simple installation in seconds. The base has connectors for the live and neutral wire to power it. There are no outlets to physically check other devices; therefore cannot replace and existing switch. It features a 1W speaker, a microphone, and a light and proximity sensor.

Zigbee and Bluetooth protocol

In addition to being a complete smart home control panel, this cool gadget acts as a Zigbee hub. You can add Tuya products directly to it and then control them via Tuya’s Smart Life App. You can add over 100 secondary devices. This means that this touch panel can serve as a replacement for any other Tuya gateway you may have used or were considering buying for your smart home. In addition, any Bluetooth-compatible device can be connected directly to the panel to send data to be displayed on the screen, such as a temperature and humidity sensor.

View time, date and local weather

Optional language and region in device settings, plus a working clock with time and date display, even you can check the weather in real time for a better life experience.

• Device/scene overview: the panel will gather all the smart devices & smart scenes from your Tuya smart app, & you can then control all your devices from the smart touch screen.
• Gateway function: enter the corresponding entrance in the Smart Control page of your Tuya Smart Life App, & add Zigbee sub-devices.
